If you've followed us along on our journey here and over on Instagram, you know that we have spent the last year renovating the main floor of our little brick ranch house in the country. We bought this property knowing that we needed to change just about EVERYTHING about it, and we have tackled it head on. We lived for three months in the unfinished basement of the property while we overhauled the upstairs. Let me just say this about living in a dingy. prone-to-flooding basement for an extended period of time without a kitchen or walls: (in the most southern way possible) That'll BLESS YA!
While we still have a lot of work to do on the exterior and basement of the house (not to mention a nursery coming soon), our main floor is pretty much complete! During the whole renovation, I told myself that I would reward myself for all the hard work by hiring someone ELSE to take photos at the end. It was so fun to work with the lovely Caroline Sharpnack and see our home through HER eyes! Be sure to check out her work and portfolio. The girl knows interiors! All of these photos are hers.
Thank you, Caroline, for the beautiful photos!
