The Long Island Iced Re...novation.

We have a new project on the horizon that I've been excitedly preparing for, and I wanted to share a little sneak peek here on the blog!

Presenting: The Long Island Iced Re...novation (aka a parsonage that needs a lot of work).

My sister and brother-in-law have lived in Manhattan for about a year and a a pretty little shoebox apartment (around 400 sq ft!) on the Upper West Side. It's been so great for them, and we love to go visit them and walk around Manhattan like we own the place, but an awesome opportunity has landed my bro-in-law the chance to work at a church on Long Island and, therefore, to live in a house owned by said church. In the old school terminology, it's basically a parsonage.

Sydney and Tim will be moving off Manhattan and onto Long Island into a new home that's more than double the size of their Manhattan place, and they've enlisted the handiness and stylings of Peach & Pine to help them make that rental property their home. We are so excited because it means lots of awesome content to bring you all, our readers, and it's an exciting challenge as we try to add character and style to a previously pretty boring and ugly house without making major changes (since they don't own it) and on a really tight budget.

Here is the other kicker...we are going to go up to Long Island to help with the renovation and we will have a total of FOUR DAYS to do some pretty big projects before we have to head back to Nashville. Well...Jeremy will have four days...and I will only have two!

We are going to document it all on video, vlog style, (which will be shared on our youtube channel) and will be sharing sneak peeks of our project on Instagram and Instagram stories!

I have been ordering things online, helping my sister pick paint colors, and creating moodboards to my heart's content over here, and I can't wait to share some of that with you all! There will be shiplap and beadboard and window treatments and a fireplace and built-ins and all kinds of fun stuff. And we will be working on a deadline!

For now, here are some "Before" can see we have a long way to go!

One final sneak is a little moodboard with some of the inspiration I am pulling from for their master bedroom!

Stay tuned for some great before and afters and renovation fun!
